In a recent development, Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has issued a clear directive to Simon Ekpa, a Biafra agitator based in Finland, to immediately cease all sit-at-home enforcement actions in the Southeast region.

The message from Kanu was conveyed publicly on Friday by his Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, during a press conference in Enugu. Kanu emphasized that anyone enforcing sit-at-home actions in the Southeast is not a follower of his and should face legal consequences.

Kanu further instructed Ekpa to avoid antagonizing governors and politicians from the region, urging him not to interfere with their actions as they may be working on behalf of the IPOB leader. Kanu highlighted that his movement is aimed at liberating the people, not causing unnecessary hardship.

The directive came as a response to the ongoing sit-at-home orders, with Kanu expressing concern about the potential harm they may be causing to the people of the Southeast. He made it clear that those enforcing such actions in his name are not acting on his behalf.

In conclusion, Nnamdi Kanu’s call to halt sit-at-home enforcement in the Southeast signifies his commitment to the welfare of the people and his intention to promote a peaceful and responsible approach to the Biafra agitation. He has also stressed the importance of adhering to the rule of law and not engaging in actions that may cause harm to innocent citizens.
