Reports say all passengers in an 18-seater bus have been burnt beyond recognition in an early morning crash in Gidan Kwano along Minna-Bida in Bosso local government area of Niger State.
The bus was said to have been coming from Lagos with the destination yet to be known but authorities said it may be on its way to either Kano or Sokoto state.
The accident, was said to have occurred around 3 am on Sunday morning, when the bus ran into a 10- tyre truck parked on the road before getting engulfed in fire.
Niger Police command spokesman, Abiodun Wasiu, confirmed the incident saying the victims were given a mass burial close to the scene of the accident. He said the plate number of the bus was also burnt beyond recognition.
