Ndi Igbo: Some of our elders & traditional rulers are confused “Ndi Eriri Eri” – Mazi Iyierioba

Obinwannem News Ndi Igbo: Some of our elders and traditional rulers are confused "Ndi Eriri Eri" - Mazi Iyierioba

I don’t normally take advice from Igbo elders when it comes to the issue of culture and tradition with reasons. How can you called your self a traditional prime minister while you still answer foreign names?

Did you call your self a traditional prime minister while you still go to church? I have questions for Mr. Pete Edochie who claims to know Igbo culture and tradition.

Pete Edochie before you start talking about tradition, first ask your self the meaning of Pete? Is Pete Igbo’s name or foreign name? Pete are you not still attending church or not?

What is your religion?
Your name is your identity and the beginning of tradition started with a name. Any Igbo man still answering foreign names has nothing to teach the younger ones about tradition.

Mr. Pete, before your children listen to you first you have to denounce your slave name Pete and goes by your Igbo name which is your identity.

Some of our elders are confused they don’t know the meaning of culture and tradition.

If any Igbo elder telling you about Igbo culture and tradition, and the person still answering foreign names attending foreign religion, do not listen to that person the person is totally confused. Your name is your first culture and tradition.

Your religion is your second culture and tradition before any other thing. Udo diri unu. Mazi Iyierioba Biafra
