The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu on Tuesday paid homage to Hausa traders in Onions market Aba.

The Governor assured them of maximum security, and also gave them the sum of 100m naira.

According to Obinwannem news reports, during the EndSARS protest, the Hausa traders had challenged the protesters to a fight.

About three Igbo youths were reportedly killed while three others injured severely by the Hausa traders.

Some of the protesters had set a part of the market ablaze in retaliation.

A certain Mr. Kelechi who was at the scene and had recorded the entire incident has gone missing till date.

Meanwhile, the injured victims are still in the hospital while the dead are currently in various mortuaries.

Governor Ikpeazu has compensated the Hausa traders for their burnt shops.

So far, Governor Ikpeazu has neither visited the hospitalized nor paid compensations for the dead and injured.
