Allen Onyema Biography & Education

Allen Ifechukwu Oyema was born in Benin on March 28, 1964, to Michael and Helen Onyema. Although he was raised primarily in Edo State, he is originally from Mbosi, a town in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Allen has a strong educational background. He attended several elementary schools before enrolling in the esteemed University of Ibadan (UI), from which he graduated in 1987 with a law degree. In addition to being a prosperous lawyer and businessman, he is a spouse and parent. Alice Ojochiba Onyema, Allen’s spouse, is a native of Kogi State, Nigeria. Four children have been born to the couple since their 1993 wedding: Nnenna, the first kid, a girl, and three boys, Chinonso, Obinna, and Ugochukwu.

Allen’s career began with more than just owning airlines. Rather, he started as a lawyer in Lagos, South West Nigeria, with a firm called Chief Vincent Amobi’s Law Firm – Nwizugbo & Company. After rising through the ranks to become the head of the chambers, he founded ONYEMA & CO., a legal practice. His success as a lawyer eventually led him to pursue his passion for aviation, and he went on to establish his airline, Air Peace, in 2013. Under his leadership, Air Peace has become one of the largest airlines in Nigeria, providing affordable and reliable air travel for millions of passengers.

Allen is the owner of the import trade company Continental Business Links Ltd. and the real estate firm Onyema & Company. Furthermore, he is a philanthropist who won praise for providing free air transportation for Nigerians leaving South Africa. Allen is known for his commitment to giving back to the community, and he has been involved in several charitable initiatives aimed at improving education and healthcare in Nigeria.

Allen is believed to be one of the wealthiest private aeroplane owners in the country, with an estimated net worth of $3 billion, however other sites, such as Thrilling, suggest he is worth $300 million. He has a pricey collection of cars, including a Rolls-Royce, a 2019 Toyota Hilux, and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, to name a few.
