A 100 Level student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka ‘UNN’, Mirabel Obi, whose video went viral some days ago, has revealed that she had suicidal thoughts after she was threatened with expulsion over the incident.

According to the viral video, the student was dancing almost “naked” to entertain people during a party at the school’s hostel.

However, it later turned bad for her after the school authorities noticed the ‘inappropriate’ behavior and threatened to expel and prosecute her.

However, the first-year student has explained how she almost considered suicide after the expulsion threat. According to the report, Obi revealed in a chat, “I wasn’t myself. At that moment, I was thinking maybe I should kill myself or something.”

However, as a student, you should always think positively when taking any decision especially when you are in school. You should always be careful of how you engage in activities, such as parties, clubbing, and others.

In my opinion, “If the video had nothing to do with the school’s hotel or areas, I don’t think the school authorities would have taken serious action against the student, maybe it’s because the school doesn’t tolerate it when it comes to issues that tried spoiling the school reputation.

So students can focus mainly on serious activities in school than any other things that might lead them to depression or frustration.
