Ebonyi State Commissioners Brawl in Public: Victor Chukwu and Jude Okpor Engage in Heated Fight at Political Event

In a shocking display of public discord, two Commissioners in Ebonyi State’s Executive Council, Victor Chukwu (Environment) and Jude Okpor (Information), engaged in a physical altercation at a political event in Ebiaji, Ezza North Local Government Area. The incident occurred during the defection ceremony of PDP chieftains to the APC, leaving onlookers in disbelief.

According to an eyewitness, the two Commissioners, who are reportedly stakeholders in their respective communities, exchanged blows without regard for their surroundings or the people present. This is allegedly the fifth time the two have clashed.

The eyewitness described the scene as “embarrassing” and a “big fight” that was not hidden from view. The incident has sparked concern among residents and political leaders in the state, with many calling for accountability and decorum from public officials.

As of now, the state government has not issued an official statement addressing the incident, which has raised questions about the conduct and behavior of elected officials in the state.
