Stage 1
The Perplexing Wisdom
Jagaba on his throne, surrounded by his advisors and courtiers. Many wondered at the wisdom of the new ruler, for his ways were indeed perplexing.
One day, a poor farmer approached the king and said, “O wise ruler, my crops have failed, and my family is starving. Please have mercy on us and provide some relief.”
King Tinubu stroked his chin thoughtfully and said, “Fear not my loyal subject. I shall bestow upon thee the gift of hope and optimism. Look to the sky, and thou shalt see the clouds of abundance gathering.”
The poor farmer looked up at the cloudless sky and replied, “But Your Highness, there are no clouds in sight.”
The king laughed heartily and said, “Ah, that is where thou art mistaken! The clouds are there, unseen by mortal eyes, but rest assured, they shall bring prosperity.”
The perplexed farmer bowed and said, “As you wish, Your Majesty.”
Meanwhile, the wealthy merchants and nobles of the land gathered in the grand hall to pay homage to the king. They brought with them gifts and praises, hoping to win favour in his eyes.
Among them was a cunning trader who spoke flatteringly, “O King, your wisdom shines brighter than the sun. Your reign shall undoubtedly bring unprecedented prosperity to our businesses.”
The king smiled, revealing his golden teeth, and said, “Indeed, I am the harbinger of progress. For every coin you invest in my name, a hundredfold shall return to thee.”
The traders were overjoyed and eagerly pledged their wealth to the king, believing in his promise of boundless riches.
Stage 2
The Mysterious Treasury
As the days passed, whispers spread throughout the kingdom about the mysterious treasury of King Tinubu. Some claimed it was filled with untold riches, while others said it was nothing but an illusion.
One brave young man named Jide, determined to uncover the truth, set forth on a secret mission to find the elusive treasury.
Sneaking into the royal chambers under the cover of darkness, Jide discovered a massive vault guarded by fearsome lions. Undeterred, he boldly entered the vault, only to find it empty except for a few pieces of silver.
Confused and disappointed, Jide wondered how the king could make grand promises without the means to fulfill them.
Meanwhile, King Tinubu continued his reign, holding extravagant feasts and celebrations to showcase his prosperity. But the people grew weary, for their hardships had not eased.
One day, as the king paraded through the streets on a golden chariot, the disgruntled subjects began to murmur, “Where is the abundance he promised? We see no clouds, and our pockets are empty.”
In response, the king raised his hand, and the court jester appeared, entertaining the crowd with jokes and tricks. The people laughed, but their hearts remained heavy with discontent.
As years went by, King Tinubu’s rule faced increasing challenges. The bandits and kidnappers still roamed freely, and the plight of the common people worsened.
Yet, the king remained steadfast in his beliefs, convinced that his wisdom would eventually prevail.
And so, the land of Nigeria continued under the reign of King Sen Ajibola Ahmed Tinubu, a ruler known for his perplexing wisdom and grand promises. Whether his kingdom would flourish or falter, only time would tell. But one thing was certain – the account of the book of his reign would be a tale filled with laughter, frustration, and intrigue for generations to come.
