Residents and business owners in Onitsha staged a solidarity march in honour of Governor Soludo Chukwuma for his outstanding efforts in constructing new roads.

Residents and business owners in Onitsha turned out in large numbers today to show their support for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s outstanding efforts in the commercial hub of Onitsha.

With songs of praise and appreciation, women and youths carrying placards with various inscriptions, including “Soludo Bu God’s Sent Ndi Anambra,” “Our IGR is working, Our Tax is working,” “No vacancy in Agu Awka in 2025,” and “Soludo Bu 8 Years Ndi Anambra,” started the popular Ochanja Roundabout (Water Fountain) in Onitsha and marched to Menax Junction along Ochanja Road.

During his remarks, Okwudili Obinwanne, the Chief of the Fegge Landlords Association and Caretaker Chairman, stated that the Governor had accomplished a lot in the past two years and pledged to do even more in the years to come.

Soludo Is The Solution has brought about a metamorphosis that Onitsha has never seen before.

I’m stating that the extensive road work that is visible from Iweka Road to Miss Elems, Haruna/Sokoto Road Onitsha, Ozomagala Street, Ziks Avenue, Creek Road, Niger Street, Port Harcourt Road, and More Street is real.

The APGA Chairman for Onitsha South LGA, Hon. Sir Uche Umenakaenyi, also spoke and stated, “We are proud of Gov. Soludo for his good developmental milestones so far.”

We ought to be grateful for Mr. Solution, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Noting that there is currently no opening at Government House Awka and that Governor Soludo is doing incredibly well.

He said that the walkways that Governor Soludo included in the construction of the roads are quite admirable and inspiring.

stating “We need no distractions for Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo from anyone, we must not fold our arms for detractors to use smear campaign against Gov Soludo”.

Mr. Anselm Asoegwu added his voice as well, saying, “I’m a staunch supporter of Gov. Soludo.” We currently have a governor who is attempting to fulfil Ndi Anambra’s expectations.

With new construction projects, Onitsha has transformed in just two years. He recommended that Oguta Road in Onitsha be rehabilitated by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as well.

Speaking further, Mr Nelson Ojukwu, the former elected chairman of the Ochanja Central Market in Onitsha, stated that the state’s road improvements are one area in which Mr Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo is excelling thus far.

To start with, we are pleased with Gov. Soludo’s accomplishments during his two years in office. reassuring them that Agu Awka is vacant.

Mrs Eucharia Chukwuma (Nwanyi Achalla), Woman Leader, Fruit Market (Azu Igbokwe Street by Port Harcourt Road Fegge Onitsha), said, “What I’m saying is that Gov. Soludo is doing well and he will go for 2nd term,” at the Menax Junction by Ochanja Road Onitsha, where the solidarity March ended.

In Onitsha, particularly at Silas Works Road, Miss Elems Street, Creek Road, Ochanja Road, etc., his extensive road network is visible.

He continues, saying that the fruit vendors in Onitsha are just as thrilled about his multiple current projects.

A retired teacher who lives in Fegge, Onitsha, added her voice as well, saying that if you look at the road construction sites in Anambra State, you would notice that they are of a high standard.

She claimed that Onitsha had seen positive changes, particularly in the area of road building. She added that Gov. Soludo has built excellent roads in Okpoko as well.

She thanked Governor Soludo for the free flow of cars due to the well-built roads that have been completed thus far. We will always support Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo and are praying for him.

The outstanding effort of Mr Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo is obvious to everyone, and Chizoba Anyaokei, Lady President of the Onitsha Youth Council (OYC), added her voice and urged him to do more for the better good of Ndi Anambra.

She expressed her admiration for the well-built road network in Onitsha, which was completed by Mr Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, as well as the ongoing road projects around the commercial metropolis.
