Spanish Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night thrashed Barcelona to win Spanish Super Cup.
Athletic Bilbao stiker Inaki Williams’s whose strike on the extra-time earned Athletic Bilbao a 3-2 win over the spainish legends of Barcelona, in the Super Cup final.
Athletic Bilbao last trophy was in 2015, following a 5-1 aggregate win over Barcelona, grabbed a last-minute equaliser through Asier Villalibre to tie the match at 2-2 and force an extra 30 minutes.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi gets the first red card of his football club career, as he swung an arm at Athletic player Villalibre’s head in frustration in the dying moments of the clash. He could be banned for at least four domestic games, with Super Cup suspensions carrying over to league and cup matches.
After the match Villalibre celebrated by playing the trumpet for his team-mates on the pitch.
Lionel Messi, in the club, has scored 16 goals in this current season.
