A disturbing report states that the popular Balogun Ajeniya market located on Lagos Island in Lagos State, Nigeria has been engulfed by fire.

According to an eyewitness, the fire started at exactly 11 am today the 5th day of October 2019 and has lasted for more than an hour.
Shops and goods worth millions including houses are on the verge of destruction.
The market is dominated by mostly, Igbo traders and other people from different tribes in Nigeria.
The market has no particular address because it sprawls across so many streets on the island. Balogun market is recognized as the best place to buy fabrics, shoes and all sorts of wears.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown, as we’re still struggling to know if lives have been lost.
