Citizen volunteers in Onitsha South LG have begun to clean Anambra state’s streets, pleading with the government, marketers, and landlords for cooperation.

Noel Udeoji, the Association Secretary, reports to Obinwannem reporter in Onitsha South Local Government, Anambra State, Igbo Land. Yesterday morning, Thursday, March 28, 2024, along Zik’s Avenue in Fegge, Onitsha, Chief Okwudili Obinwune led the Fegge Landlords’ Association Caretaker Committee and his team on a surprise inspection of the activities of the road sweepers assigned to Fegge, Interface, and had fruitful discussions with them.

Hon. Chioma Eze, the Onitsha South Team Coordinator of Road Sweepers, thanked the Association for the inspection visit and promised to always do their best in their duties. She praised the Solution Governor, Prof CC Soludo, for involving them in ensuring that our roads remain clean. Chioma also thanked the Onitsha South T.C. Chairman, Chief Emeka Orji, for his numerous contributions to the team.

The Landlords’ Association was pleased with the sweepers’ candour and assured them of their material support in ensuring that they performed optimally.
