Popular activist and freedom fighter of the Yoruba race, Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, on Thursday said in an arduous tone, it was time for the Yoruba nation to be actualized.

He welcomed anyone who supports and are willing to join the agitation.

Conversely, Igboho addressed newsmen in Ibadan through his spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, saying that the Yoruba people were aware of what they wanted, and that there was no need to hold back for the agitation of the Yoruba Nation.

Part of the statement reads: “Anyone who is willing to support the agitation for the Yoruba Nation is highly welcomed the goal is the yoruba Nation, now”.

He noted how focused they are in realization of the Yoruba Nation, and assured the people that everyword heard from him, was essential and a reality.

Igboho recognized Chief Femi Fani Kayode as a stakeholder who has shown interest in the struggle for the Yoruba Nation, adding that his opinion was also regarded in the agitation struggle. “There is no reason to doubt him. We have 100 percent confidence in him,” Igboho said.

He further encouraged the Yoruba people to unite with one voice.

“Therefore we want to identify with Chief Femi Fani Kayode, and any other person that stands for the Yoruba race irrespective of their religion or political affiliation,” he concluded.
