In a recent development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted a second list of 19 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Among the nominees are former Governors Simon Lalong, Gboyega Oyetola, Bello Matawalle, Ibrahim Geidam, and Atiku Bagudu, who have been included in the additional list.
Other names on the list include Ahmed Tijjani, Bosun Tijjani, Dr. Maryam Shetti, Ishak Salako, Tunji Alausa, Tanko Sununu, Lola Adejo, Shuaibu Abubakar, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Sabi, Alkali Ahmed, Heineken Lokpobiri, Uba Maigari, and Zephaniah Jissalo.
The Senate will now conduct the necessary screening and confirmation process for these nominees.
