News Report - Bar Ejimakor's Press Briefing on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Stand Against "Sit-at-Home" Order News Report - Bar Ejimakor's Press Briefing on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Stand Against "Sit-at-Home" Order

In a press briefing held today, Bar Ejimakor, the counsel to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, spoke firmly on behalf of his client, disowning any involvement in criminal activities and denouncing the “sit-at-home” order in the southeast region of Nigeria. He also conveyed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s directive to Simon Ekpa, a figure alleged to be enforcing the illegal order, to immediately end it.

During the press conference, Bar Ejimakor revealed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu expressed grave concern over the negative impact of the “sit-at-home” order on the people of Ndi-Igbo. Kanu emphasized that the forced shutdown of businesses and essential services is causing harm to the region’s economy and the well-being of its citizens.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, through his lawyer, called for Barr. Aloy Ejimakor to organize a world press conference to address the issue extensively. This indicates Kanu’s eagerness to tackle the matter publicly and engage with the wider community about the implications of the “sit-at-home” enforcement.

Furthermore, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu sternly stated that anyone still supporting or enforcing the “sit-at-home” order should be regarded as a criminal, thereby distancing himself from such actions and their consequences.

The “sit-at-home” order has been a contentious issue in the southeast region, with varying opinions among different groups. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s stand against the order is likely to generate significant discussions and reactions in the coming days.

It is essential to note that this press briefing by Bar Ejimakor does not represent an official response from the Nigerian government, and the situation remains subject to further developments and responses from concerned parties.
