Many feared dead in Olambe Matogun area of Ogun State as a petrol tanker exploded.

Obinwannem News learnt that the explosion occurred on Saturday morning and properties were gutted by the fire.

Although details of the incident are still sketchy, an unconfirmed number of persons were affected by the inferno, including shops and buildings around the axis.

“A petrol tanker just exploded at Olambe in Akute, Ogun state and the fire is still on. Several properties have been destroyed already”, a resident told SaharaReporters.
