Witness statements to Obinwannem News It was a rain of gunfire at UGA Roundabout, Aguata LGA, this evening 28 /12 /2023 around 5:50 pm when UGM poured in from Umuchu – Umunze road, all holding AK47 Assault Riffles and kidnapping individuals at random in flashy cars.

They took their time and stayed there unopposed for a considerable amount of time. They opened fire and shot two police officers when they saw them approaching from the EZINIFITE axis.

Very depressing. The gunfire was terrifying and deafening, and people were observed screaming, running, and scrambling for their lives.

Our CAPAD Filling Station windows were damaged by bullets fired from their AK-47, however, as of the time of publication, no injuries had been reported.

Anambra State continues to be a target for criminals from nearby states and other places.

We offer condolences to the cops who were on duty at the time and tragically lost their lives in these senseless killings.
