Unidentified gunmen on Monday invaded Community High School, Ijoun, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State to wreak havoc.

Reports say the hoodlums who were armed with machetes and axes, injured two teachers identified as Kayode Olatunji and Stephen Oyelekan.

Findings show that the hoodlums were allegedly hired by some students of the school to bully and beat up teachers.

This came in the wake of similar incident at Unity High School, Kajola, Ibooro, in the same local government, where some students allegedly hired hoodlums to bully their teachers.

Information obtained has it that the thugs stormed the school with weapons and attacked the teachers.
”The incident happened at about 10:45 am on Monday, where the attackers used machetes and axes on Kayode Olatunji and Stephen Oyelekan, before they took to their heels,”

The victims had been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment while the incident was reported at the Eegua Police Stagion.

The school principals Kayode Amusa and Mr Sowunmi said they had reported the incident to the traditional ruler of the community, Chief Olaleye Emmanuel, and the leader of the Amotekun security outfit in the area.
