The younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Kanunta Kanu has said that Nnamdi Kanu believes that Biafra could be actualized without violence.
Kanunta, disclosed this in his Twitter handle on Friday, noting that a state – sponsored terrorism is ongoing against Igbo people.
The Tweet reads:
“#MaziNnamdiKanu believes in nonviolent to achieve #Biafra. He only asked #Biafrans to defend themselves against the invaders #FulaniHerdsmen and #Jihadists, state sponsored terrorism against #Biafranpeople.

The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, founded by diaspora-based Kanu in 2012 is a controversial secessionist movement in Nigeria. The organization agitates for the break-up of Nigeria and new nation of Biafra, saying people of Eastern Nigeria have suffered for so long at the hands of successive Nigerian governments.
