FG orders schools to reopen

The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered all schools in Nigeria to open after about six months of shutdown to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the country.

The Federal Government gave the order Friday through the minister of education Adamu Adamu during a press briefing in Abuja.

Adamu advised all institutes in the country to adhere to the guidelines of the presidential task force on Covid-19 before reopening.

He further stated that all unity schools should open by October 12 while states and private schools will determine their own modalities of reopening.
