The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obinwannem Ndigbo Global Foundation Mazi Ugwu Okechukwu has urged all members of the organization to be steadfast in its operations to ensure that the aim of the movement is actualized.

This was disclosed by Nwachineke Ugwu in a statement presented in Ama GburuGburu social media platform on Monday , June 20, 2022.

He however explained the complete structure of Obinwannem Ndigbo Global, and probably stressed the importance of how these structure would be of good benefit to the five state in the South-East.

The statement reads in parts” As you all know i created Obinwannem social media to unite all Igbos globally to assist each other , to hear the voices of our brethren through whatsap and encourage each other in one way or the other. The reason i created Obinwannem social network is to enable us to publish our lifestyle, teach our Omeanla and Odinala , write and learn more about our Igbo culture and tradition , create a platform for all villages and Local Government Area (LGA) in Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia State were all activities in all these states are created .

“Obinwannem Socia Network is established just the way Twitter, Facebook, Instagram are connected to create interactions in the social media, the only difference is that for now Obinwannem Social Network do not have a platform to record voice, it can only be maximized using video, text, and pictures .

“I urge everyone to register the Obinwannem Social Network, you can download or register through Google. You must register using your Igbo name.

“We also have Obinwannem.com, Obinwannem writers work on this platform, we have three writers, Ijeoma Njoku from Imo State (Chief Writer), Onyeke Chekwube from Enugu State ( Assistant Chief Writer), Chinweoke Ugoabata from Anambra State, (Writer).

“Obinwannem News has been giving us money through google and YouTube, but is not paying us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, until it is built for monetization. Through this platform Obinwannem has created jobs for our people.

“Similarly we have the director of Obinwannem in Nigeria, Chinedu Nnaji, who oversee the affairs of Obinwannem Igbo News on social media, we dont pay her, because she signed an agreement with the company to obtain a certificate to head Obinwannem in Nigeria, and also to get one share for her efforts.

“We are still in need of Igbo writer who can be able to translate what is written in English to Igbo language .

“Another website Obinwannem operates on is Obinwannem.org. This website is mainly used to compute data of members, registration,( 40, 000), pre registration (5000).payment of tax is mandatory, the tax will be deducted from the 40, 000. Anyone who has promised to pay tax, sjould do so, this will enable the mission of Obinwannem to be achieved, there are greater benefit to the end”.

“I therefore encourage everyone to start using our Social network to promote our culture, to keep our information and intact, because there’s no privacy in facebook and other social network.

“We now have what will be used to promote Obinwannem news, what is required is to get good management to harness its functions to the fullest. We also need reporters in all the Local Government Areas.

“Enugu has began establishing their own office, as they are currently contributing immensely to start operations, all money obtained from Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi will be used for our sicial media.

“Anambra has purchased leadership form, Enugu has also bought theirs, and they have certificate to grant them permission to operates in Obinwannem name.

“I call on the five states that makes up Obinwannem to build this mission online, to get border control and also international relayionsjips, which means Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Anambra and Imo State will have communual relationship to fooster unity, peace, progress among them.

“Everyone should take up their position seriously. The job of every state chairman is to present five officials, visit Monarchs, Ozor, traditional herbalists, and other elders, and stateman in their community. Failure to carry out these duties leads to suspension”, he added.
