Some members of the National House of Assembly, Nigeria, joined the ongoing protest against the Supreme Court judgement in Imo State.

Uche Secondus, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra state and the vice-presidential candidate of the PDP had led the protest to the supreme court on Monday morning.

Present also, is Senator representing the Abia South Senatorial district, and the senate minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe.

The march took off from the PDP’s Legacy House in Maitama, Abuja amid tight security.

The protesters, in their hundreds, held placards which read: “Save Judiciary”, “Presidency and Judiciary Murder Democracy” and “We say no to Supreme Court judgement in Imo” among others.
