Today, I met with officials to summarize the results of my official visit to Switzerland, participation in the World Economic Forum, and meetings there. There were many good and useful talks with countries from Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. We spoke with both political and business leaders.
Other Ukrainian officials continued to work at the Forum today. Specifically, to provide more business and technological opportunities for Ukraine and its defence sector. We must present not only our needs—the needs of Ukraine, our warriors, and our society—but also Ukraine’s capabilities, and what we do and can do, despite the difficulties of war, to strengthen Europe’s common security.

I spoke with Emmanuel Macron to thank France for launching the artillery collation for Ukraine and committing to produce dozens of “Caesars” and ammunition for them in 2024. We discussed in detail the battlefield situation, Ukraine’s priority defence needs, including items for France’s next military aid package, and the need to further strengthen Ukraine’s air defence.
We directed our political and military advisors to prepare for President Macron’s visit to Ukraine and to expedite negotiations on the bilateral agreement on security guarantees following the G7 Vilnius Declaration.
