After over one months in detention, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday, finally meets his younger brother, prince Emmanuel Kanu at the detention facility of the Department State Service, DSS in Abuja.

This happens to be very first visit, ever since Kanu was abducted and extradited back to Nigeria from Kenya.

Speaking to Vanguard on Monday, Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu said he met with the pro-Biafra activist today.

According to him, the IPOB Leader “is in high spirit and now more determined than ever in getting Biafra.”

Emmanuel added that the IPOB leader has been praying fervently for all Biafrans and sent his greetings and warm felicitations to all Biafrans for their firm support towards him.

Kanu’s younger brother also said that his brother urged all Biafrans to keep the Biafran spirit alive, expressing optimism that the Biafra Republic will soon be restored irrespective of the antics of the enemies.

”He’s in his spirit and appreciates all the support from all Biafrans home and abroad”, he said.

Emmanuel appealed to the Nigeria Authorities to grant his brother access to his personal physicians.

He also called on the international community to prevail on Nigeria to free his brother so he could reunite with the family.
