Nigerian talented Afro-singer, Burna Boy will have one of his track titled ‘Destiny’ featured in Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration playlist.
The inauguration team for president-elect Biden and Vice President-to-be Kamala Harris released an official inaugural playlist, with 46 songs.
According to the Inauguration team, the song was selected as one of the featured songs for the presidential swearing-in.
Biden’s inauguration playlist packs songs like: Mary J. Blige’s “Now Or Never,” Mac Miller’s “Blue World,” A Tribe Called Quest’s “Award Tour,” N.E.R.D’s “Run to the Sun,” KAYTRANADA’s “What You Need,” The Internet’s “Come Together,” SZA’s “Good Days,” Beyoncé’s “FIND YOUR WAY BACK,” and Burna Boy’s “Destiny.”
Joe Biden and Vice President-to-be Kamala Harris will be sworn in as President of the United States on Wednesday, January 20.
The only African in the selection, Burna Boy was chosen for ‘Destiny’ off his 2020 album Twice As Tall, for which he earned his second consecutive Grammy nomination.
