There is no other way to say
President Donald Trump has created an indelible mark in the history of America as the first United States president to be impeached twice.

The first attempt of impeachment was initiated by house speaker Nancy pelosi on September 24, 2019; charging him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. However, the senators voted 52 to 48 to find Trump not guilty on the charge of abuse of power.

Sequel to the heat of 2020 general elections, a violent attack was staged against the US Congress by Trump’s supporters, to stall the formalization of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. This, however, propelled the House of Representatives Wednesday to impeach President Trump; accusing him of of ‘inciting insurrection’ in the last week riots at the US Capitol.

The House voted 237 to 197 to impeach Trump, Ten Republican also supported the motive.

The third ranking House Republican, Liz Cheney, who voted for Trump during elections, made known her intentions to move against the president. She said, “the president summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of attack”.

Before signing the article for impeachment Today, Ms Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the house, said that “no one is above the law, not even the president”.

Though Ms Pelosi never revealed when to send the article to the Senate; but she appointed a slate of impeachment managers late Tuesday, for a swift prosecution of the case against Trump, during a trial in the upper chambers.

Senate majority leader Mitch Connel has encouraged impeachment, a GOP source says, but clearly state that Senate trial won’t start until Joe Biden is sworn in.
