Blessing Okagbere, of Urhobo heritage, Old Mid-Western Nigeria has taken to her social media handle to announce a thrilling news she got from Guinness World record.

The Urhobo born star has just recieved a mail showing her inclusion in the Guinness World Record, following a “certificate for the ‘most appearance’ in diamond league between July 2010 to August 2018”.

While describing how she felt on Instagram she said “A dream made a reality through God’s grace and determination, look what finally came in the mail”, she posted via her verified Instagram account.

The female star has officially registered her name on the famous book of records.

Okagbare, who last weekend set two new personal indoor records at the Doyle Sports Management Meeting, won an Olympic silver medal at the 2008 Games as a 19-year-old in the Long Jump.

She has also won a World Championships Silver, and is the current African Record holder in the 200m and in the 4x200m with the Nigerian team.

Okagbare is seeking a fourth Olympic Games participation with the Nigerian team in Tokyo in July.
