Today’s most significant development is something we’ve all been waiting for and worked on for months at different levels: two more air defence systems have arrived in Ukraine.
Naturally, no specifics should be made public. But these are the technologies that can intercept anything.
We will preserve regions. There are currently insufficient systems to secure Ukraine adequately, but we are working on it daily. I am grateful to our allies who help us boost Ukraine’s air defence and save lives.

He also welcomes the German Bundestag’s decision of 7.6 billion euros in military funding for Ukraine in the 2024 budget. He is pleased that their agreements with Bundeskanzler are being implemented.
Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz is a German politician who has served as Germany’s chancellor since December 8, 2021. He was a member of the Social Democratic Party and previously served as Vice Chancellor in the fourth Merkel authority, as well as Federal Minister of Finance from 2018-2021.
