The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Tuesday stage protest at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) headquarters in Abuja.

The Labour union stated that the picketing was held over alleged anti-labour matters.

NLC is accusing the management of CAC of clamping down on union members who challenged anti-workers policies.

However, the Trade Union Congress, TUC, and the NLC are divided in the issue, which resulted in a clash between members of the unions.

TUC had held on Tuesday, news conference, warning that they would resist the NLC’s demonstration, but the latter said it planned to protest for three days, and would not back down.
