Obinwannem News Fr Mbaka Blast S'East Leaders Over Refusal To Solicit For The release Of Nnamdi Kanu

The Enugu fiery catholic priest, Rev Fr Mbaka has lambasted the South-East leaders for allegedly keeping mute over the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu continuous illegal detention in the Department of State Services, DSS Abuja

Mbaka made this known on Friday, in his Adoration Ministry programme in streamlined video posted Facebook.

He said that Igbo leaders have played a dumb ear to the present plight of the kanu, in a bid for their selfish political ambitions.

He said, “I don’t know why our leaders who should be talking about their son are shying away from that. Somebody said your son us evil (and) shoulfd be killed. Will you sign that paper to kill your son?

“I don’t know how they understand my own stand, but I know God understands my position. I am soul-saver; I am a soul-winner.

The Bible say ‘a good shepherd will leave 99, and begin to look for one that is lost’.

“One of us is missing. This is a culture of unity. Igbo people are bonded. Forget about what money is trying to do. We shall divide money, money shall not divide us.

Political position shall not make us to merchandise our children. Because some people want to go to Abuja, they are ready to disown the youths. God in heaven is watching.”

However, Kanu was rearrested in June in Kenya after escaping assassination attempt from Nigeria millatry, who invaded his home town, Afarakwu in Abia.

Presently, he is in DSS facility Abuja, awaiting trial which has been slated by the court on the 21st October.
