According to reports, suspected members of Boko haram terrorists had on 26th December killed about eight people who are believed to be Christians along the Maiduguri – gwoza road.

According to sources, it was gathered that the Boko haram insurgents originally kidnapped ten travellers along the road where they later released the only two Muslims among them and slaughtered the remaining eight.

Obinwannem has confirmed that out of the eight that were slaughtered was a lady identified as Miss Martha Bulus, a Christian who was to have her wedding on the 31st of December, 2019.

Miss Martha was travelling to her hometown in preparations for her wedding when they were kidnapped and she met her untimely and violent death.

This generated outrage by some angry social media users.

This will be one of the many attacks of Boko haram in the November December period this year.

Recall that the insurgents killed some military men earlier this month.
