More Meritorious Awards are dedicated to you, UmuChineke, and my fans all over the world: Greetings and best wishes to all of you, my dear people.
The auspicious visit of representatives from the African Students’ Union Parliament (ASUP) to my office today, the 1st of February 2022, all the way from Ghana, truly humbled me. These African students chose me to receive the “Pan-African Servant Leadership Award as Africa’s Icon of Judicial Transformation,” as well as the title of “Societal Drug Free Ambassador.” These honors have completely astounded me.
I’d like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the ASUP’s Leadership, Board, and Members for considering me deserving of these prestigious awards.
Especially for closely monitoring and keeping track of events affecting human rights and the sanctity of human life throughout Africa, particularly Nigeria.
My mandate as a Minister in the Temple of Justice is to promote efforts that improve the rule of law and provide for equitable justice, which I have long championed. More importantly, Martin Luther King’s words inspire me: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
As a result, I am committed to pursuing justice by ensuring that justice is seen to be done for the causes I represent. This zeal led to my passion for defending the rights of my people, who, as a result of poor leadership, are on the country’s margins.
In addition, in the various forums where I have had the opportunity to speak to the youth, I have categorically condemned the menace of drug use and abuse among the young.
These activities were being monitored and tracked across shores, unbeknownst to me. This has demonstrated that there are unseen eyes watching our every move and enterprise; therefore, we must all be aware of our actions and inactions in public.
As your servant leader, I dedicate these awards once more to my indefatigable client – Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu – as well as to all UmuChineke, my fans, and all lovers of truth and justice around the world.
Thank you for your unwavering support and prayers; you are all loved and valued.
