LaLiga: Accept 50 per cent pay cut or leave – Barcelona tell top players

Barcelona players are facing a 50 percent pay-cut demand from the board, according to Mundo Deportivo.

This is due to the Catalans’ financial situation and pressure from the LaLiga
over their wage ceiling.

The Barca board is now asking the players to accept slashes in their salaries.
Players, who recently renewed their contracts, like Pedri and Ansu Fati, will be exempted, along with their January arrivals.

However, along with the club’s leadership group, all other squad members will be told to accept 50 percent pay-cuts or leave.

EPL: Chelsea, Liverpool players needs Pogba in their clubs – Darren Bent

Former England star, Darren Bent has said that both Chelsea and Liverpool players would ‘love’ their respective clubs to sign departing Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.

It was all confirmed on Wednesday that the France international would leave Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of this month.

He is widely tipped to return to Juventus, but a deal has not yet been reached and PSG and Real Madrid also want the France World Cup winner.

The Frenchman played a total of 233 games for Manchester United, helping them win the Europa League in 2017, but his stay at Old Trafford has been generally considered a failure.

Transfer: Man Utd top target Asenso opens up on future at Real Madrid

Real Madrid attacking midfielder, Marco Asensio has admitted that he could be leaving the club this summer amid rumours he has been offered to Manchester United by super-agent Jorge Mendes.

The Spain international’s contract with the Spanish giants will end next June and no agreement has been reached for an extension.
Real Madrid would definitely want to see this summer as an opportunity to cash in on the winger.

Asensio made 31 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 10 goals as they clinched La Liga title and the Champions League glory.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have made a bid of €40 million (£34.21m) for Newcastle United and West Ham United target and Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on his website that Arsenal have bid €40 million (£34.21m) for the 23-year-old.

The Italy international striker has turned down the chance to move to Arsenal.

Man Utd: Juan, Pogba to leave clubs after complete midfield reset

Manchester United have confirmed that Juan Mata and Paul Pogba will leave the club this summer.

After announcing on Thursday morning that Juan Mata will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this month, Manchester United have now said goodbye to three senior midfielders in less than 24 hours.

On Wednesday, they confirmed that both Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard will also no longer be registered employees of the club when their current deals reach their conclusions on June 30.

The exits of the aforementioned trio have long since been expected, but confirmation of their departures has made it crystal clear that United have got their wheels in motion for their summer rebuild.

United need to make significant changes to the landscape of their first-team squad this summer and the departures of Pogba, Lingard and Mata will be seen as the correct first steps that had to be taken.

They had all reached the end of the road as far as their Old Trafford careers were concerned; now United must look to the future.
