Following instructions by the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for a nationwide cleanup, residents of Ebonyi State have just been spotted on the streets by Obinwannem News this morning as they go about the cleaning exercise.

The public came out in mass to complete the cleaning exercise at Onu-Ebonyi junction where the Nigeria soldiers shot dead one of the protesters and wounded several others in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state.

The IPOB leader had asked Nigerians to clean up the country to enable a good environment for the next phase of protest.

He assured that after the cleanup, another phase of protest will ensue, adding that the protesters will never back-down until their demands are met.

Meanwhile, the Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi during his press briefing with journalists in Abakiliki on Sunday had said there will be no clean up in the State.
