Popular Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, said he was able to escape another plot by the Department of State Services (DSS) to attack him on Saturday, during the nation rally which took place in Osun State.

Yoruba supporters for the agitation for Oduduwa Repulic came out en masse to protest at the popular Nelson Mandella freedom park via old garage area of Osogbo.

According to News gathered by Obinwannem Media, the crowd of demonstrators were dispersed by heavy rain. It was also observed that Sunday Igboho arrived the venue at 2:01pm, and quickly addressed the people due to the rain.

A video was uploaded by his media Aide Koiki media, of a man whom described himself as a DSS officer, confessed he was sent by the federal government to take pictures of Sunday Igboho vehicle and plate number during the protest.

The full statement reads:
“One of the DSS (Department of State Security), has been apprehended at today’s Osun State Mega Rally, name as Mr Seun Olayinka, working with federal government under DSS was caught today.

” During our interrogation with him he said that he was sent by the Federal Government working on behalf of DSS to target one person, Chief Sunday Igboho vehicles.

” He confirmed to us, himself, that the mission was to bug and take pictures of Chief Sunday Igboho’s vehicle plate number.

” We had to do a quick security check using our own GPS DETECTOR to make sure vehicles was not bug”.
