The lawmaker representing Oguta Constituency of the State, Frank Ugboma has said that Miyetti Allah has agreed to compensate the aggrieved family of late Elder Ozoemena Iriaka in Imo State.

Obinwannem news had reported that Elder Ozoemena Iriaka of Umuepu, Agwa in Oguta local government area of Imo state was murdered by the herdsmen on early hours of Saturday.

While addressing the press, Hon. Frank Ugboma revealed the agreement was reached in a meeting with PGs of 24 autonomous communities, security agencies, the leadership of Miyetti Allah, the DPO, DSS, Civil Defence and others.

Hon. Frank Ugboma further said that the security men are there to maintain peace and order in the communities, adding that they are on top of the matter, he described the incident as unfortunate, pleading with the residents not to engage the herdsmen yet in any form of reprisal attack.
