Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, in Imo State on Sunday, held their new year thanksgiving program at the Annunciation Catholic Church, Imo Housing Estate, new Owerri, Imo state.
The Thanksgiving ceremony which was conducted by Rev. Fr. Chinemerem Bornaventure Opera was attended by a large number of IPOB members from all around the state.
According to the state Coordinator, Mazi Abraham Chimamkpam, “the Thanksgiving was held in appreciation to Chiukwu – Okike Abiama who has in his infinite mercy brought us this far.
“We are appreciating him for all the good achievements we’ve counted in the struggle and for preserving us.
” We shall continue to struggle until the death of our fallen heroes becomes meaningful, and that is the emergence of the sovereign states of Biafra”.
