United States president Joe Biden has revealed plans to recontest in the next presidential elections by 2024. In his long awaited first presidential conference as president, Mr Biden was asked if he would run for the white house again, Mr Biden said, the answer is Yes, my plan is to run for re-election that is my expectation.
“He said, that is my expectation, i’ m a great respected of fate. I’ve never been able to plan three and a half, four years ahead for certain.” The President was also asked if he expected Kamala Harris to again be his running mate next time.
He said,” I would fully expect that to be the case, she’s doing a great job, she is a great partner. Mr Biden will be 81 years old if he is re-elected into office as President, 2024; already the oldest president ever elected. When asked if he would be contesting with Donald Trump in the next election.
He said, he had no idea, if he would be running once more against Donald Trump. He said, cI don’t even think about it. I’ ve no idea if there ‘ll ever be a Republican party, do you?” Repeatedly, Mr Biden was questioned over the increasing numbers of children being held in custody after crossing border in Mexico.
Nearly 5000 children are backed up in crowded border status awaiting transfers to overwhelmed government shelters. Mr Biden said, they would not be allowed in because of the perception that he was a “nice guy” and would let them in, because of the condition in their own countries in Central America.
“I guess i should be flattered that people are coming because I am the “nice guy “. That is why they are coming, because Biden is a decent guy, but the truth is that nothing has changed,” he said.
However, he stated that the vast majority of migrants caught at the border were turned back, but Mexico was not accepting some of them.
