Christiano Ronaldo express worry as Man Utd is yet to sign players

Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is now worried that the club have been unable to sign a single player since the summer transfer window opened.

The club’s transfer strategy is now a growing concern for the Portugal international, who expected that by now two or three players have arrived at Old Trafford.

Manchester United finished last season on a very poor note and will not be in the Champions League next season.

New boss, Erik ten Hag has come to revamp the squad and has already identified several transfer targets, with Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen his two priorities.

The Red Devils are also chasing the likes of Julian Timber, Lisandro Martinez and Antony, all from Ajax. But United have yet to secure their first summer signing, while Liverpool have already sign.

Liverpool: Another star player leaves club after Mane

Monaco, on Tuesday, struck a deal worth £15.5m (€18m) with Liverpool to sign Takumi Minamino.

The fee is understood to be an initial £12.9m (€15m) and a further £2.6m (€3m) in add ons.

Minamino arrived from Red Bull Salzburg in 2020 and has featured 55 times for Liverpool, scoring 14 times. The 27-year-old is the second forward to leave Anfield this week, after Sadio Mane underwent medicals with Bayern Munich.

Man Utd: Set to choose between Anthony and Lisandro Maryinez

Manchester United will have to choose between Antony and Lisandro Martinez with Ajax reluctant to lose both players during this summer’s transfer window, The Mirror reports. The Red Devils are yet to make a major signing this summer, but they have been heavily linked with Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong over the past few weeks.

While the club remain locked in negotiations for the Dutchman, they also appear to be interested in signing Antony and Martinez from Erik ten Hag’s former club.

However, it may not be easy to convince Ajax, considering Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui have joined Bayern Munich while Sebastian Haller will soon sign for Borussia Dortmund.

Ajax don’t want to tear apart the winning squad built by Ten Hag during his successful four-and-a-year reign and may ask the Red Devils to choose between Antony and Martinez this summer.

The Dutch champions are open to selling both if an exceptional transfer offer arrives, but it is suggested that they don’t need money, having earned over £350 million from player sales over the past four years.

Sadio Mane reveals why he left Liverpool to join Bayern Munich

Sadio Mane has admitted his heart was set on a move to Bayern Munich as soon as he heard about their interest.

The Liverpool forward has now completed a medical, bringing to an end a six-year stint at Anfield. But with just 12 months left on his current contract, the 30-year-old made it clear he was looking to leave.

Bayern have finally reached an agreement on a deal which will see them pay an initial £27.1million for the Senegalese talisman.

The fee could rise to £35.1m and although neither club have officially announced the transaction, he has been spotted in Bayern gear and completed his first interview with reporters in the country he will now ply his trade in.

“When my agent first told me about Bayern’s interest, I was immediately excited.
“I saw myself there right away. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here.

5.Report: Everton Star in a three-way battle between Arsenal, Chelsea, & Spurs

The forward position appears to be one position on the Tottenham Hotspur squad that will get an upgrade this summer.

The north London club will be looking to add scoring depth and replace the potentially outgoing Steven Bergwijn.

One name consistently linked to Spurs this summer is Everton striker Richarlison is at the center of a three-way battle between London clubs. According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old attracted the interest of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham.

Everton will not be willing to negotiate at a price less than £50-million, roughly what they paid to land Richarlison in 2018 from Watford. This past season, the Brazilian appeared in 33 fixtures scoring 11 goals and recording five assists.
Arsenal is coming off losing Alexandre Lacazette on a free transfer to Olympique Lyonnais, and Chelsea parted ways with Romelu Lukaku sending him out on loan to Inter Milan.

Meanwhile, Spurs could be looking to give manager Antonio Conte two quality strikers as he had during his time at Inter Milan, where he had Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez.

Man Utd: Fabrizo Romano claims club needs to pay £86 million for De Jong

FC Barcelona are not budging on their asking price for Frenkie de Jong.
The Dutchman has been Manchester United’s number one target this summer, with Erik ten Hag keen to reunite with his former player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan club are demanding €86 million in full, and are not expected to lower their price.

This is due to La Liga’s strict financial rules which will not allow Barcelona to reinvest all the money into player purchases.

Spanish Station Radio Estado Noche claim that the two clubs are still €15 million apart on their valuation for De Jong.

United are said to have a budget in the region of £100m-£150m as per Rob Dawson (ESPN).

With Ten Hag keen on bringing in five players this window, United could find themselves in a predicament if they manage to overpay for De Jong.
