The leadership of the largest, global movement of freedom-fighting, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has informed Biafrans to leave every social media platform that is anti-freedom oriented.
The IPOB leadership stated that the first platform Biafrans should exit is the “WhatsApp”, and should be done latest by the end of January.
This information was made available to the public domain Wednesday, in a statement released by Family Writers Press (FWP), one of the IPOB mainstream news agency.
According to the statement: “It’s time to exit all these anti-freedom social media platforms and we are starting with WhatsApp”.
According to IPOB leadership, “Great Biafrans, good morning to you all. Please, I will like everyone to download ”Signal” on their phones; for we are moving away from WhatsApp just before the end of this month. Thanks.”
IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, during his radio Biafra live broadcast on January 10, had announced the need to exit WhatsApp for Signal (messaging) app within four days; following the’ new WhatsApp Policy’ that cannot guarantee user’s privacy any longer. WhatsApp however in a recent post said it has no such plans.
