South East governors like the biblical salt that has no taste – Dan Nwanyanwu

Obinwannem News South East governors like the biblical salt that has no taste - Dan Nwanyanwu

Former National Chairman of Labour Party, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu made scathing statements regarding the conduct of the South Eastern governors whom he shunned for their inaction when it comes to ”serious issues” of National Unity and Biafra Agitation.

Speaking to Journalist of the AIT during a Kakaki program, Nwanyanwu blasted the South-East Governors for their failure to identify with Biafrans in their struggle, adding that even while the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was illegally held in detention and protesters were fatally attacked by the Nigerian security forces, the governors were busy moving from one Northern state to the other in the night where they think they derive their powers from.

“When we are holding serious discussions, leave those who are occupying (public) positions for occupying sake, Chief Nwanyanwu said.

Referring to the dictatorial tendencies of the present administration in disobeying court orders and holding their victims in custody, Chief Nwanayanwu said;
“On the issue of Biafra, on the issue of Illegal detention, disobedience to court orders, I am not expecting any governor in the south east to raise a finger, for fear of Abuja clamping on them.

He further said, “If you’re occupying position and cannot defend your people even by mere statement, then you’re like the biblical salt that has no taste.

“They are interested in their seats, they want to protect it, they can from there to Sokoto, move to Kano, move to everywhere to protect their seat in the night, they will never raise a finger when we are talking on this serious issues of uniting Nigeria, on the issue of Biafra, forget about the governors in the south east, Chief Nwanyanwu said.
