Soludo wins the 2024 Vanguard Award for Good Governance
After years of intense scrutiny and a rigorous selection process, Vanguard Media Limited’s management has chosen Governor Soludo to receive the 2024 Vanguard Award for Good Governance.
Soludo was picked for this award based on his considerable accomplishments since becoming governor of Anambra State three years ago. Among his significant successes are improvements in infrastructure, particularly urban regeneration, transformations in education and health care, and a critical revamp of the state’s security framework.
This includes the formation of the Agunechemba security unit and the commercialization of whistleblowing, which has proven beneficial in combating crime in the state.
Vanguard considers Soludo to be one of Nigeria’s most committed and focused governors.
