Two suspects arrested in Bauchi have confessed to killing a little girl for money ritual, narrating how they embarked on the dastardly act.
The two suspects, Abdulkadir Wada, 19yrs, and Adamu Abdulrauf, 20yrs, confessed during interrogation by officers of the Bauchi state police command after they were arrested, accordion to news outlet, PR Nigeria.
One of the culprits, Wada, speaking in Hausa said that he and his accomplice, Abdulrauf had gone to Kwata, the area where the latter’s elder brother and his family stays, there, they lured a little girl into an uncompleted building and strangled her to death.
Abdulrauf then removed a knife from his pockets and cut off the girls private part, it was a native doctor who asked him to get the female body part in exchange for N 500,000, he said.
The second culprit, Abdulrauf, denied killing the victim, saying it was Wada who came and met him in the house and told him and one of his friends how he went to a spiritualist who promised N 500,000 for a female vagina which he declined, adding that one of his friends called Musa had warned him to avoid Wada.
He further explained that Wada visited him the next day, while he was working at his mechanic garage and handed him a charm, he later asked him to accompany him to a place called Kwata.
When they got to the area, they saw two young girls at a location and stopped to call the girls. Wada removed a handkerchief from his pocket and flashed it before the faces of the girls, the girls slumped and he took one to an uncompleted building where he removed her organ as directed by the native doctor.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi police spokesperson, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil told PRNigeria that the suspects would soon be arraigned in court after the investigation has been completed.
