The Nigerian Senate is debating a move to end the important, sales and use of generating sets in the country.
The bill according to the sponsor, the Senator representing Niger South Senatorial District, Muhammad Bima Enagi is intended to curb environmental pollution while facilitating the development of the nation’s underperforming power sector.
Anyone found guilty of offense according to the bill will be liable to imprisonment.
Recall that the controversial ”Social Media” bill was also sponsored by the Senator Enagi.
