Rivers police parade 21 suspected IPOB members. The Rivers State Police Command has paraded 21 suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

This is in line with the River State Governor Nyesom Wike’s order to arrest the Biafra group who he claimed were involved in the 21st of October 2020 attack on Police stations during the EndSARS protest in the state.

In a press briefing by the state commissioner of police, CP JOSEPH MUKAN at the command headquarters in Port Harcourt, he alleged that three police officers were killed, one station was vandalized, while four hoodlums were killed during the protest.

CP MUKAN further promised to rid the state of all manner of crime and appealed for support from the general public.

He stated that all the suspects would be prosecuted after investigation, warning that the command would not tolerate any breakdown of law and order.
