The convener of RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore who has been in detention since 3rd August 2019 has just been released by the Department of State Security DSS on Thursday evening.
A DSS source disclosed this to Newsmen on Thursday night. Marshall Abubakar, one of the lawyers of Sowore, later confirmed the development.
“He has been released. I am with him as we speak,” he told Newsmen over the phone.
Recall that Sowore was arrested and charged with a Felony charge a few days to the RevolutionNow protest.
He was granted bail with stringent bail conditions which include 100,000,000 (Hundred million naira) and other frustrating conditions attached.
