Reno Omokri slams Osinbajo, ask him to stop intimidating Ude

Obinwannem News Reno Omokri slams Osinbajo, ask him to stop intimidating Ude

Following the claims by Jackson Ude that the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo received funds from the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu, the former special assistant to Goodluck Jonathan has asked the Vice President to stop intimidating Jackson Ude, but to come clean with evidence to court.

This development is coming after Yemi Osinbajo called for the sanctioning and probe of Jackson Ude for defamation.

Recall that an unconfirmed report broke out on social media that Magu gave Osinbajo N4 billion after allegedly embezzling over N39 billion.

An online platform, PointBlank News, run by Jackson Ude, a former director of strategy and communications under President Goodluck Jonathan administration, on July 8, published that Mr. Magu embezzled over N39 billion and gave Mr. Osinbajo N4 billion for a soft landing.

The report also added that unnamed sources within the panel investigating the suspended EFCC boss “exposed the vice president’s involvement in the scandal.”

Reacting to Osinbajo’s moves, Reno Omokri warned that it is an abuse of Ude’s office for the Vice President, and a pastor, to ask the Inspector-General of Police to investigate Jackson Ude.

Reno further stressed that if Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is hiding nothing, he should make bold steps by going to court with substantial facts.

Reno said: “It is an abuse of his office for the Vice President, and so-called pastor, Yemi Hushibanjo, to ask the Inspector General of Police to investigate Jackson Ude”.

“If Osinbajo is sure that Magu did not pay him ₦4 billion, as alleged by Jackson, who has a reputation for exposing corruption, then Osinbajo should sue Jackson to court for slander, not use the police to intimidate him”.

“Let the truth come out in court. Except Osinbajo has something to hide”.

Reno urged Osibanjo to emulate Former President Goodluck Jonathan who despite being defamed by him presented facts for clarity.

“When Osinbajo lied against former President Jonathan, Jonathan did not write to the IGP to intimidate Osinbajo”.

“He simply revealed the facts, which portrayed Osinbajo as a liar. Osinbajo should also come clean with the facts of the Magu ₦4 billion allegation”. He added.
