The popular Biafra market in Cotonou, Benin Republic was gutted in as traders are said to loose every dime thing in the market.

The market is known to be an Igbo dominated market as majority of the investments are owned by Igbo traders.

Obinwannem news gathered that goods worth millions of Naira were lost to the inferno.

The Fire which started in the morning invented huge intensities as three different fire fighters weren’t enough to quench the uncontrollable flamed.

While the fighters battles with the inferno, the miserable looking traders were seen gathered in groups watching their life earnings in rubbles.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be known as at the time of filling this report.
