The Director of the Obinwannem global foundation, Nwachineke Ugwu Okechukwu, has called on the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, the Directorate of State, to pay more attention on the actualization of Biafra, rather than dwelling on the present crisis.
However, there are reports claiming that there are crisis among the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB. The group disowns Simon Ekpa, who is a identifies himself as a disciple of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This has raised lots of controversies among the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB.
Mazi Ugwu, has said urged the leadership of IPOB, to put issues that would hinder the struggle aside, and focus on the goal which is “Biafra Nation”.
This was disclosed on Obinwannem Radio, on “Ozi Oma Chineke on Tuesday morning.
Ugwu encouraged the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB to emulate and practice the teachings of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to achieve the aim of the struggle.
He said, “I have learnt a lot of things from this struggle through Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and I am practicing it. This is not time to blame people. Because as humans we do make mistakes. This is the time we need to find solution out the crises Igbos find themselves.
“We are one, i don’t want us to continue with this fighting amongst ourselves. We are tired of the sufferings. I want to go back home, Igbos in Diaspora are suffering. It is time to go home and make a positive impact that would help our land.
“Am pleading with the new members of IPOB, DOS to do everything in their power to resolve the crisis, especially those who use the social media to attack people like Mefor, Ibe. They should stop all this, and focus on Biafra restoration”, he said.
Mazi Ugwu reveals that so many people in the struggle who open a page in the social media, are not IPOB. He however recalled the words on Nnamdi Kanu on the issue.
Saying, “We are the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, under one central command, under one Directorate, under one coordinator. The fulanis are doing every thing possible to establish fake groups in Facebook to deceive our people”, Kanu alleges in subsequent broadcast.
Ugwu, also stressed that no agenda that can restore Biafra except that of IPOB, which is why the leadership should work harmoniously to achieve the goal.
He also noted that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is smart, if he has appointed Simon Ekpa and others to take some strategic position, that means there is something worthy he has seen in them.
