Former German professional defender Thomas Tuchel, 47, signed an 18-months contract at Chelsea Tuesday evening, with a possibility of extending it by a further year in London.
However, Tuchel has served as a head coach of Borussia, Dortmund, PSG, among other clubs. He has also won six trophies at PSG, including two Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue and two Trophees des Champions.
Tuchel’s contract as a head coach in Chelsea was coming barely 24-hours after coach Lampard was sacked.
